A Perfect Family Getaway at Tarang Home Stay
Our recent family trip to Tarang Home Stay was a truly heartwarming and refreshing experience. Traveling as a group of 12 — including 4 elderly family members and 4 kids — we were looking for a place that could offer peace, safety, and enjoyment for all age groups. Tarang delivered on every front.
Nestled in a calm, green setting, the homestay offers a serene ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. The location is peaceful and ideal for families looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The food was simple, homely, and tasty — exactly what we wanted. Served in generous portions, every meal was fulfilling, and the refreshing Kokum drink was a delightful first-time experience for us all. It was healthy, unique, and incredibly refreshing.
What made our stay even more enjoyable were the recreational activities thoughtfully arranged on the property. From cozy campfires under the stars to fun games like Carrom, Shuttle Cork (badminton), Mini Table Tennis, and even a Bow & Arrow setup, there was something for everyone. The kids were thrilled, and even the elders joined in the fun — it brought our entire family together in the most heartwarming way.
The true highlight of our stay was the host, Mr. Prajwal. A genuinely down-to-earth person, he attended to every need with sincerity and care. He believes in “Atithi Devo Bhava” (The guest is God) and it truly shows in his actions. From warm conversations to helping us arrange water activities at a very reasonable ₹600 per head, his focus on guest satisfaction was truly exceptional.
In all our travels, we’ve rarely come across such hospitality, authenticity, and attention to detail. If you're looking for a family-friendly, peaceful escape where you feel truly cared for, Tarang Home Stay is the place to be.

I have been looking to explore Dandeli forests for some time... We got to know about Tarang from a friend. Very nice stay we enjoyed in Tarang jungle stay. Rooms are smartly done in big tents which feel roomy. Even though it's a basic jungle stay, it feels very 'resort like'. The food is homely and very nice. The jungle and cave explore was superb. This kind of dense jungle is awesome. The constant chirping of birds around is so lovely. Overall a must have experience. Thanks to Prajwal and his team.
